GCADA Three Part Automotive Google Analytics Training Program
Session #1 – Wednesday, October 10, 2018
Session #2 – Wednesday, October 24, 2018
Session #3 – Wednesday, November 7, 2018
9:00am – 11:00am
Presented by George Nenni, Generations Digital
Dealerships are spending more money on digital marketing, but few people in the dealership probably have a strong Google Analytics knowledge, and do not understand how to configure the tool for inspecting ROI. Understanding how to fully measure the results in your digital advertising spend is increasingly critical as more of your ad dollars are spent in this area.
GCADA is offering a unique opportunity for a three-part, customized Google Analytics training program led by George Nenni of Generations Digital. George is both Google Analytics Certified, and PCG Automotive Google Analytics Certified. This series of classes will provide hands-on training for both beginners and experienced Google Analytics users. Attendees who complete this series will be better able to determine which of your online marketing investments are working and which are wasting the dealership’s money.
Session One: Wednesday, October 10, 2018
The first session will cover both basic and intermediate Google Analytics concepts for setup and analysis. Learn about how to login, the basic navigation and framework, how to setup UTM campaign tagging, and connecting Google Ads (AdWords) paid search.
Session Two: Wednesday, October 24, 2018
The second session will cover intermediate topics including: setting up filters, setting up custom goals and segments used to measure conversions and traffic trends. This training will be very automotive-centric, including detailed goal and segment setup for the most popular website platforms (CDK, Dealer.com, DealerOn, etc.). Finally, this session will cover how to set up Custom Channel Grouping for reporting on assisted conversions vs. last-click attribution.
Session Three: Wednesday, November 7, 2018
The third session will assume the attendee knows all the information covered in session one and two and will dive deep into advanced techniques for measuring traffic quality around paid search, referral, organic, and social media inbound traffic. Attendees will learn how to build custom reports, Cohort Analysis, and other advanced topics.
